TODAY I WENT TO THE BROOKLYN FLEA, WHICH IS BEING HELD IN THE WILLIAMSBURG BANK BUILDING DURING THE WINTERTIME. I HAVEN'T BEEN TO THE FLEA SINCE THE SUMMER IN DUMBO, WHICH IS MIND BOGGLING TO ME BECAUSE I LOVE A FLEA MARKET MORE THAN ANYONE. AND SINCE IT HAS BEEN SO LONG, I GOT MAJOR ANXIETY GOING IN THERE. FLEA MARKETS TO ME ARE LIKE ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT BUFFETS: YOU ALWAYS FREAK OUT THAT YOU WON'T GET ENOUGH FAST ENOUGH, WHEN IN REALITY THERE'S WAY TOO MUCH AND YOU ALWAYS LEAVE FEELING LIKE YOU DID SOMETHING YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE. ANYWAY, IT WAS A BLAST NONETHELESS, AND THE BUILDING IS GORGEOUS AND MAJESTIC, AND I'M GOING BACK NEXT WEEK. I FOUND AN UNBELIEVABLE BLACK LEATHER DRESS FROM THE EIGHTIES WITH AN OPEN BACK AND ALL THESE BUCKLES AND STRAPS. I HAD TO TRY IT ON IN THE BATHROOM BECAUSE IT WAS TOO TIGHT TO FIT OVER MY JEANS (AS ANY RESPECTABLE LEATHER DRESS IS), AND I GOT THE SIDE-EYE FROM SOME MIDDLE AGES LADIES, BUT I THINK IT'S THE MOST AMAZING THING IN THE WORLD. AND AS ANYONE WHO KNOWS ME WILL CONFIRM, I REALLY NEEDED ANOTHER LEATHER DRESS. I'LL TRY TO TAKE A PICTURE OF IT THIS WEEK AND POST IT.
