WELCOME TO BLACK WAS THE COLOR!

THIS IS MY FIRST POST, AND I HAVE TO SAY I'M A BIT EXCITED. IN THINKING ABOUT HOW TO BEGIN, I FIGURED I COULD EITHER START WITH SAYING A LITTLE SOMETHING ABOUT MYSELF AND WHAT THIS BLOG IS ABOUT (OH HELL NO) OR I COULD JUST POST A PICTURE FOR A LITTLE INSPIRATION. THIS IS A FILM STILL FROM JEAN-LUC GODARD'S 1964 FILM CONTEMPT, STARRING THE VERY SEXY (BEFORE YOU FOUND OUT SHE WAS A WILD RACIST) BRIGITTE BARDOT, MICHEL PICCOLI, AND JACK PALANCE. I LOVE THIS FILM BECAUSE OF THE BREATHTAKING MEDITERRANEAN SEA SHOTS, AND THE EPIC-SCALED MYTHOLOGICAL STATUES. IT'S TRULY STUNNING. PLUS, I THINK THIS IS A GOOD IMAGE WITH WHICH TO START SOMETHING NEW, DON'T YOU?
